Kick off the fall, and the end of the Fremont Oktoberfest celebration with the 6th annual Brew HA-HA 5K Run and Walk presented by Anytime Fitness, Sunday, September 21st, 10:00am at the Solstice Plaza.

Run for the glory, stay for the beer!

Day of Brew HA-HA 5K Schedule:

8:00am Day of Race Registration and Pre-registration number and t-shirt pick-up

10:00am 5K Race begins

10:30am Awards Ceremony and MOViN 92.5 Rehab Party at the Beck's Beer Garden

The Course:

Be a part of the 2008 Brew HA-HA official 5K Run and Walk. The starting line is located at N. 34th street and Fremont Ave N. at the Adobe Plaza. The course goes east along N. 34th St continuing along N. Pacific St. At Latona Ave NE the course turns west onto the Burke Gilman Trail and continues under the Fremont Bridge ending just past Phinney Ave N. Finish line activities are a block away at the Carter Subaru Stage at Phinney Ave N. and N. 35th St.

$15 Oktoberfest Microbrew Garden Entry- opens at 11am (save $5 with race participation). Receive two extra tastes when you register for the Brew HA-HA or Street Scramble and buy a microbrew ticket.

Registration fee includes a Fremont Oktobefest Brew HA-HA T-shirt (T-shirts not guaranteed for day of registration).

Beer Belly Division:

Don’t let that Beer Belly stop you from running! Join the elite Beer Belly Division, where you will be treated like Oktoberfest royalty.

If you are asking yourself, “How do I become a member of this highly acclaimed group of runners?” the answer is jump on a scale and see if you are qualified for this prestigious position. Those men who are 200 lbs. plus and women who are 160 lbs. and over are eligible to enter this division. Besides earning the respect and admiration of fellow racers who recognize your achievements, you will be honored with an unfair advantage of starting first, and thus ensuring your possibility of getting to the beer garden finish line before the pack!

Team Division:

Bring your entourage to this year's race. The largest team (number of participants) will take home the title and trophy. Add some flair and come in a costume. May the largest team win!

Brew HA-HA Street Scramble

The ultimate scavenger hunt adventure in the Center of the Universe – Fremont.

Get ready for the race-adventure of a lifetime with the 2008 Brew HA-HA Street Scramble. You will be given thirty locations, each with a point value throughout the Fremont area. The quest is to visit as many as you can, on foot, in 90 minutes. In teams or solo, competitive or casual, discover the mysteries of the Center of the Universe in this captivating event.

Ribbons will be awarded to winners in Men, Women, Mixed, 50+, Family, Junior, and Corporate categories.

Registration:

Pre-Registration: (Prices are per person)

  • General $15
  • Youth $10 (13-21 years)
  • Kids $5 (6-12 years)
  • Kids 5 and under are free!

Teams:

Any team with a child 12 and under $30 maximum for the entire team.

Teams without a child 12 and under pays individual fee. Remember to put team name on registration.

Day of Registration:

  • Youth $15 (13-21 years)
  • Kids $10 (6-12 years)
